This list represents only a small fraction of the Advent replacement parts still available. Please call for pricing and availability on any models not listed. Exact replacement drivers are still available for most models. Where they are not, Advent often has an equivalent or "upgrade" replacement from a later model of the same basic design. Some of the more popular parts are still in production, others are limited to existing stock and will no longer be available when the current supplies sell out. Aftermarket upgrade parts are available for several models. We have introduced a new line of high quality US made 6.5" and 8" upgrade woofers suitable for use in many Advent cabinets. Most versions have poly cones and rubber surrounds as opposed to the paper/ foam construction of the Advent parts. Prices are usually the same as the factory part, in some cases a bit less.
8" woofer note: OEM paper/foam woofers for the Prodigy/Heritage/ etc... are gone and will not be reproduced. Current "factory" replacement is the paper/foam AR "universal" 8-incher [$55.50 ea]. This is a more heavy duty woofer than the original Advent part, and a reasonably close sound quality match. Best option is to use our custom poly/rubber 8" [US made], they have a very smooth response, better long term durability, and are relatively inexpensive [$48 ea].
"Large Advent" woofers: Our new and improved Large Advent woofers are now available. Cost is $80 each which includes the adapter plate and mounting hardware. The new woofers have the same overall tonal characteristics as the originals, but with a much improved magnet system for better efficiency, higher power handling, and cleaner low bass reproduction. This woofer is also an upgrade for the Legacy and Maestro cabinets, just omit the adapter plate and take $5 off the price. These are top quality woofers, custom built for us here in the USA.
"Factory" reproduction woofers are now available [$85 ea]. These are cosmetically identical to the "25th Anniversary" LA woofers, functionally, well... These new drivers are made in China, and while the manufacturing quality is decent, sound quality and durability can't compare to our custom replacements.
"Large Advent" tweeters: New upgrade poly dome type tweeter, $52 each. Very smooth sound with better high frequency response than the original "orange" tweeters. Dome is a semi-rigid poly with a unique catenary [pointy end of an egg] profile for increased strength. Works with the original crossover design, but you should replace the stock electro capacitor with a new poly cap to enjoy the tweeter's enhanced sound quality [$6 ea]. These do have larger magnets than the original tweeters, and require minor cabinet work for mounting.
25th Anniversary Edition "Large Advent" Woofers / Tweeters: see above notes for the originals
"Small Advent" tweeters: Same tweeter as the "Large Advent", but the SA cabinets usually do not require any modifications. Sorry...but Small Advent woofers are not available. If you have a set...take care of them. We do have custom made surrounds for this great 9" woofer, and refoaming is only $55/pair. If your originals are missing or non-repairable, we do have a couple of very good replacement options in the $48-$65 range. These woofers make a good sonic match and thanks to more modern designs are considerably more efficient than the original mass-loaded woofer. Due to the SA woofer's odd size, you do need to make a adapter plate for the new woofers to fit [very simple].
Advent Two / Model 2 : These woofers were built in the odd size Smaller Advent woofer frame, but the cone was much smaller, somewhere between a modern 7" or 8" woofer. A cardboard spacer ring was used to adapt the undersized cone to the spacer ring. Due to the very odd frame/ cone size refoaming is not practical as no proper fitting surrounds exist. We have several replacement options that are much better than the originals from a sound quality and durability standpoint, prices range from $40-$50 [call for options/ details]. As with the Small Advent, you do need to make an adapter plate to get the new woofers to mount in the odd size opening.

10" woofer: Used in the Legacy I / II / III , remaining originals are old stock, use our Large Advent woofer sans adapter plate $75 ea.
Legacy II Tweeter: $57 each, see substitution note below:
Legacy I and III Tweeter $59 each. You can replace any of the Legacy tweeters with the higher quality yet less expensive Maestro/ Large Advent tweeter. The dome and voice coil are the same, but the Maestro version has a larger magnet for better power handling. Cost is actually lower due to the huge volume of these tweeters sold for replacing the old "orange" dome units in the Large Advent. Faceplate size is 4.5" x 5", a bit smaller as it doesn't have the logo stamped in. The larger magnet just fits in stock cutout [most cabinets], but you'll need to re-drill the screw holes

We can use this as a cross reference in most cases.
